I saw Judah And The Lion back in March, when they opened for twenty øne piløts. Never heard of them before that concert, but I'm glad I know them now. Nice to hear some original, unique music. Keep it up guys:D
Saw them open for Incubus and I was amazed. My husband and I couldn't stop talking about them. If they keep with this style with mixing everything which is very unique. I will not stop listening. Can't wait to see them in DC in the fall!!

I saw them at a twenty one pilots concert a few months ago, and I just now randomly decided to listen to them. Not bad.
Good singles - mediocre album
This band has a lot of potential when it comes to songwriting. The sounds they're able to capture in this album are an interesting mix between acoustic folk and newer edge production/pedal effects, and the rhythm sections of some tracks shine out as highlights of those songs. That being said, the album overall seems 6 or 7 tracks too long. I almost wish I hadn't bought the deluxe album because the original may have had more consistency and better overall quality. This feels like they had some popular songs and tried to capitalize on that by re-releasing the album with tracks that should be on a completely different project (or not be recorded at all). Overall, some of their songs are fantastic. "Take it All Back", "Suit and Jacket", and "Forever, Always" are good songs in their own right. Even the hip hop adjacent tracks are pretty listenable considering the format of this band. I would love to see this band live and I look forward to seeing them explore their sound and seeing which direction it takes, but for this project they were too cluttered and to inconsistent to deem the album as a whole to be great. I would definitely recommend the band for its singles and hope we get to hear more from them soon.
This band has it all, good songs, good sounds!!! Elements of rock, folk, and hip/hop. Wow, love this album!
Some Sort of Hip-Hop Beat...

Take it All Back is sooo awesome!! IDK about all of you, but I'm getting major Mumford & Sons vibes over here! The beat is infectious and the mandolin/banjo add to it so that it's not another one of those electro-pop-dance-anthem-things-you-call-music (because we DEFINITELY don't need another one of those.) Major props to you, Judah and the Lion!! You have put your own folk-alt spin on pop and have completely succeeded!!! Can't wait to hear more from you guys!
