Glass Animals explores a new feel this time, veering away from the smooth and silky vibe that Zaba gave out. Zaba was like a walk through the jungle while this album is move of a drive down the high way in a convertible. The album follows a plotline of sorts and yet each song is its own story. There are layers and layers of underlying messages in every lyric, allowing each listener to connect with the songs in their own way. Packed full of emotion, funky beats, and unique sounds, How to be a Human Being is a masterpiece from start to finish.

At first, I considered this album to be average, but almost a year later and many listens, I can tell you that this is one of the best albums I bought in recent memory. Not one track on here is bad, but my favorites are Season 2 Episode 3, Mama's Gun, and The Other Side of Paradise.

I see I'm the minority here... I really hoped it would grow on me after a few run throughs, but this album just doesn't compete with Zaba for me...

I never write reviews but I just need to say that this is one of my favorite albums of all time. Each song was created which such care and full of detail. Every time I listen to this album I discover new things I love about each song. It's perfection.

Definitely trying something new and it sounds awesome. Awesome like Outkast Aquemini awesome. The funk at the beginning of the album is undeniable yet they keep that mellowness that made gooey stick in my head. Keep it up.

Solid from the beginning popular track 'Life Itself' all the way to the end and my favorite song on the album 'Agnes'. Glass Animals hold true to their Indie sound with a new set of fresh funky, beats and lyrics that you can't help but move you head and arms to and sing along and then you are hooked. Hard to choose but other favorites that jump out to me include 'Other Side of Paradise' 'Cane Shuga' 'Season 2 Episode 3' and 'Poplar St'.
